Mail posts stand in both capitals, both villages, at the wayposts and out on the frontier. Address a letter to any hero by name and it will find them — with gold and up to three pieces of gear riding along if you send them.

This is also how the world pays you. Auction winnings, the spoils of a sale, anything the realm owes you — it all arrives at the mailbox rather than chasing you across the sand.
