Delete your World of Clashes account
The short version. You can delete your World of Clashes account at any time, in three ways: in the game, on our website (you don't need the app), or by email. Deletion is permanent. It removes your account, all your heroes and everything tied to them. We keep only a few records, for fraud prevention, security and moderation, for the limited times listed below.
1. Delete in the game
- Open World of Clashes and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- On the home screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Delete Account, then tap it again when it reads "Really delete EVERYTHING?"
Your account is deleted straight away and the game returns to the start screen. Uninstalling the game does not delete your account.
2. Delete on the web — no app needed
- Go to worldofclashes.com/account.
- Sign in with the email and password you use in the game, or with Sign in with Apple if you play on iPhone or iPad.
- Open the Delete account tab, type DELETE, and tap Delete my account permanently.
For your safety, we ask you to sign in again if you signed in more than 15 minutes ago.

Can't sign in? Maybe you forgot your password, or you don't have the game any more. Email privacy@worldofclashes.com from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my World of Clashes account".
To protect you, we only delete an account when we're sure the request comes from its owner. We'll write to the email address registered on the account, and delete the account once you confirm from that address. If you can't use that address, or your account has no email address (this can happen with Sign in with Apple, or with accounts made by older versions of the game), please delete the account yourself: in the game, on the device you play on, or on the web with your password or Sign in with Apple. Apart from a reply from the account's email address, those are the only ways we can check that an account is yours, so we never delete an account on hero names alone.
We delete the account within 30 days of confirming the request — usually within a few days — and email you when it's done.
What we delete
When your account is deleted, we immediately remove:
- Your sign-in details: your email address, your password (we only ever store a one-way hash of it), your Sign in with Apple link, and the device identifier linked to your account.
- All your heroes and everything on them: level, experience, gold, gear, bags, quests, talents, achievements, in-game mail, and daily and weekly progress. Your heroes' names become free for other players to use.
- Items you bought in the game (skins and mounts) and everything else you unlocked.
- Your friends list, your guild membership, and your places on the leaderboards and on current and past arena ladders.
- Your auction house listings (they are removed, not returned).
- Your activity and sign-in history, the last IP address and platform we recorded for your account, and your notification tokens.
- Reports you sent about other players, and reports other players sent about you.
- Your session on the account website and your forum profile (name and hero). The forum profile goes immediately when you delete on the web, and within 24 hours when you delete in the game or by email.
What we keep, and for how long

Before you delete
- Deletion is permanent. We can't bring back a deleted account or its heroes.
- Purchases can't be recovered or moved. Items you bought are deleted with your account and can't be restored on a new account later, even with Restore Purchases. Refunds are handled by Google Play or the App Store under their own policies.
- An item you bought stays linked to the Google Play or App Store account you paid with. After you delete your game account, that store account can't buy the same item again for a new game account, unless the store refunds it.
- If you're the only leader of a guild, the guild is disbanded.
- Removing the game from your phone doesn't delete your account.
- Only want to delete part of your data? You can delete a single hero from the hero list in the game, or email us to delete your forum posts or other specific data. A deleted hero is removed straight away, along with its places on the arena ladders. Its name can still appear in older entries of your account's activity history and on the cave leaderboards until you delete the whole account, and in other players' records as described under What we keep.
